Sallisaw First has three overarching goals that define us. First, we help people to LOVE GOD by meeting Jesus through engaging services where they can worship and learn more about God and the Bible. Second, we help people find their sweet spot, SERVING OTHERS in ministry in our communtiy. Third, we believe in being a church that feels like home and allows Believers to GROW TOGETHER. Regarding our church network, Sallisaw First is an Assemblies of God church.
We love kids, and we want them to love the church. We don’t exist to babysit; we exist to help kids make lifelong friendships and fall in love with God and His Word. We have safe, exciting environments for your kids, from infants to elementary school, and we cannot wait to meet them! We keep your kids safe and secure through our check-in system. You can make checking your kids in fast by pre-registering them on our Kids page. We can’t wait to meet them!
Sallisaw First is a church for everyone. We like to consider our services a time to enjoy with family. Wear what makes you comfortable. [To let you in on a little secret. We would be shocked if Pastor wore a tie and had his shirt tucked in on Sunday Mornings.]
A typical Sunday Morning service at Sallisaw First consists of worship by our live band and a message from our Pastor or one of our preaching team members. During these services, we are sure that you’ll grow in your relationship with God and get a chance to escape the stresses of life you face during the week. Sunday morning services start at 10:45. The entire service typically lasts a little over an hour
Do you need prayer? During the service, you will have one or two opportunities to talk to one of our prayer team members.
The easiest way to connect is to click on the "Plan Your Visit" banner at the top or the floating button on the lower left of the page. The form will allow you to pick a day that is best for you to visit. Our hosts will greet you and help you connect with our church family.
There is ample space on the west side of the building to park. The front entry is located at the drive-through covering. There will be greeters just inside the doors to assist you.
